Bouquet of Hope

Venue Pearl | 323 NW 13th Avenue Portland, OR 97209
Meyer, a locally loved and internationally revered performer, will set the mood for the evening with his unique flavor of contemporary classical music fused with diverse global rhythms and progressive rock influences. A classically trained violinist, Meyer began playing with the Philadelphia Orchestra at age 11 and continues to perform at elite venues worldwide and regularly in Portland.
This year, Bouquet of Hope attendees will be afforded the rare opportunity of an intimate dance performance of Cleve danced by Pamela James-Goodenow and Jonathan Krebs choreographed by Josie Moseley. Moseley is considered one of the regions top choreographers and has captivated audiences worldwide for over 20 years with her solo performances and ensemble pieces for a broad spectrum of companies and artists.
Merrill's high energy rock presence have made them the perfect opening act for such bands as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. They were also asked to play the 2007 Bumbershoot Music Festival with Crowded House, Fergie, and Kings Of Leon, and received regional airplay for their song "The One Thing" from their first album "Evolutions." The band has a licensing agreement with Fox Sports for the use of their song "Back 4 More" and donate their time by playing charity events for Boys and Girls Aid, The Red Cross, and The American Cancer Society.
